Who We Are
The Play Skool team is dedicated to curating early intervention services through various modalities. We provide child-centered, naturalistic play-based therapy, encompassing the whole family to yield the most beneficial, effective, and sustainable outcomes. Our comprehensive approach is aimed at achieving success through a whole child perspective. We firmly believe in parent and caregiver participation, care collaboration with outside providers, (e.g., educational teams, speech and language pathologist and occupational therapist) and consistent co-collaboration in service to our families.
Our Expertise
Our team utilizes education, knowledge, and expertise to provide intensive parent coaching programs designed to meet the unique needs of each family. The Play Skool also provides education and behavior consultation. We collaborate and partner with public and private school teams for professional development and ongoing training opportunities. Our team also provides consultation services for community-based organizations focused on equitable distribution of services and resources to everyone.
Mission
Our Commitment
We passionately thrive on providing support, education, training, and resources for both our neurodiverse and neurotypical community members. We provide psychoeducation, family coaching sessions, and caregiver workshops as part of our early intervention services.
We believe every child is deserving of compassionate rearing, equitable, respectful, and accessible education, and participation in the community, regardless of race, cultural practices, gender, and/or socioeconomic status.
Our Team
Our services are facilitated by team members with extensive training in behavior therapy, general and special education, classroom collaboration for teachers and/or administrators and trauma focused services for children who have experienced trauma-impactful events. Our neurodivergent clients include children with early onset mental health symptoms associated with anxiety, attention deficit, global developmental delay, sensory integration, and autism.
